The Caravan Through The Hostile Divulging, 2017-2018
Using familiar and common materials such as plywood, rope, and school glue, I create objects and environments that are unfamiliar and must be traveled to be understood. If the caravan is willing to travel these forms through touch and play, they will reach a state of being between multiple perceived realities, allowing for sensitive information to be divulged and creating a playful yet hostile sensation.
White Stuff
Two heavy and huggable suspended bags full of thick liquid material. One of the bags was sealed, keeping the material inside liquid and malleable. The second bag was punctured so that the material oozed out of it onto the floor.

Trough
Two troughs full of gelatinous material were mounted on a wall. Strings with wax-coated knots were sticking out of the gel, asking to be plucked out. When plucked, they create a little “pop” noise and can be resubmerged back into the gel wherever one pleases.
